Obama will be the Democratic nominee. It almost feels surreal, though, that after the long road of the last sixteen months the improbable outcome of an Obama nomination over the inevitable nomination of Hillary Clinton is now just hours away.
Which is why I'm floored to have been offered an Obama Organizing Fellowship and to know that in two weeks I will be working for Barack Obama in the bellwether state of Missouri.
Follow this fellow over the jump for a few thoughts on this exciting moment.

We'll wake up and realize that the results of the Texas caucus matter. And that is why I've included some pictures along with this diary - to remind other Obama supporters to remain hopeful and stay positive because we are better off after March 4 than we were before it! I was one of several Obama precinct captains in Travis County #146, meeting at Lee Elementary.
We took 13 of the precinct's 18 delegates.

Joining the Austin American-Statesman and the Dallas Morning News, both the El Paso Times and San Antonio's Express-News choose Obama:
San Antonio Express-News, http://www.mysanantonio.com/op...
America needs a president that tries to create unity out of diversity, marshalling all the forces - red, blue or purple - that make this country great.
Sen. Barack Obama is the Democratic candidate that offers the best chance to reach that lofty objective.
Obama is generating so much excitement that Sen. Hillary Clinton, once leading comfortably in the polls, is bracing for the fight of her life.
El Paso Times, http://www.elpasotimes.com/opi...
The El Paso Times recommends that El Pasoans voting in the March 4 Democratic presidential primary cast their votes for Barack Obama. A weary America, tired of the status quo, fed up with business as usual, is longing for a positive change -- and Barack Obama is that change.
Of the two viable Democratic presidential candidates, Obama represents a fresh future rather than an inevitable harking back to the past -- what was a divisive and contentious past for many.

Barack Obama raised $32 million in the month of January from 170,000 individual donors. This is amazing, and it is a true sign of the breadth, depth, and momentum of his movement.
Hillary Clinton raised $13.5 million in the same time period, less than half of Obama's amount. But today we find out that she gave herself a $5 million loan. Clinton's donors are either maxed-out, weary, or waning.
Let's continue to give Obama our strongest support!

The Statesman agrees: Yes, we can! The endorsement appeared tonight on the newspaper's website and will be in tomorrow's print edition, just days before Super Tuesday.
http://www.statesman.com/blogs...
Obama presents a view of governing that is inclusive and relies on Americans to work with their government to solve sobering problems at home and abroad. Obama's familiar refrain on the campaign trail is, "Yes, we can."
Yes, we can!
