Hello All!
Gregg County For Obama is continuing moving forward in 2009 after all our hard work in the election! We are working on policy issues in a variety of areas.
One of our initatives is a partnership with Working Effectively for Clean Air Now (WE CAN). WE CAN, founded in 2000, is an alliance of individuals, businesses, and organizations advocating sustainable energy strategies for North East Texas, including the use of renewables and conservation. WE CAN educates the public on air quality issues and provides information on opportunities to participate with relative policy-making and legislative decisions.
With this in mind, we are having a Think Tank Meeting for Green Power in Longview with WE CAN on Thursday March 5, 2009 at 6:00 PM. Tammy Cromer-Campbell of WE CAN and Gregg County For Obama will coordinate the discussion. Please come on Thursday -- we want input from as many people as possible!
