Thank you to all our Texas volunteers. Take a few days off after working so hard for the last year. No one thought we could win Texas, and yet we actually won the most delegates.
After March 4, Obama still has a huge 100+ lead in the pledged delegate count. But this nomination is far from over, and we still need your help!
Please re-direct your grassroots energy toward the upcoming nomination states. Take a few days off, but please mark your calendars and get ready to get back to work. We'll win this nomination the old-fashioned way...by making more phone calls and knocking on more doors.

Fellow Austinites,
The lines will be long on Election Day next Tuesday, so do yourself a favor and vote early today. Austin City Hall is an early voting location, so avoid the Election Day rush and vote for Obama today!
If you can't make it down to San Antonio for the Obama rally, then you're invited to our local neighborhood block party tonight at Victory Grill to celebrate the end of early voting. We'll have great music, food, children's activities & much more...and it's FREE!

Tomorrow, we're asking all our supporters to roll up your sleeves and volunteer. The Clinton campaign has the endorsements from much of the Texas political establishment, and Obama can't win Texas without your grassroots help. The pundits have said that Texas is the Clinton "firewall", so we have to work hard on the grassroots level to pull off the big upset. We want Saturday (3/1) to be the biggest volunteer block-walking day in Texas history. There's nothing more effective than neighbors talking to neighbors, so please volunteer and make a difference. You can sign up to become a precinct captain at www.texasprecinctcaptains.com, or you can swing by one of our Austin campaign offices:
1) Downtown Headquarters - 816 Congress Ave., Suite #200, 78701
2) East Austin - 1309 Rosewood Ave., 78702
3) UT Campus (Dobie Mall) - 2025 Guadalupe, Suite #142, 78705
If you have any questions, please contact the campaign headquarters at (512) 476-2008.
Just a couple of months ago, Clinton had a 30-point lead in Texas. But with some hard work over the next few days, we can shock the world and turn Texas into Obama Country.
