Which Hillary Clinton will show up at tonight's debate? Will it be the friendly Hillary we saw in the first part of the Texas debate and who had a diplomatic closing statement at the end of the debate? Or will it be the angry and desperate Hillary who got booed in the second half of the Texas debate for attacking Obama? Will it be the Hillary who went nuclear against Obama on Saturday, or will it be the Hillary who openly mocked him and his supporters on Sunday?
Show up for tonight's party at Scholz Garten to find out! This is the last presidential debate before our primay next Tuesday.
Whichever Hillary shows up tonight, we know that our candidate will stay on his consistent message of hope and change. Sen. Obama has taken the high road, and he wants to unify our country to create a governing majority that will get real results for working families.

The biggest political event to hit Texas decades is coming this Thursday. If you can't get a ticket, then swing by our debate watch party and cheer on Sen. Obama.
Thank you to all those supporters who have been with us from the very beginning. Our first Obama Book Club meeting was December 7, 2006...before Obama had even announced for president. It's now been over a year since we first started this grassroots movement here in Texas, and we've come a long way.
Check out this photo slide-show from our first meeting back in Decmeber 2006, and read the story in today's Statesman below.
Texans for Obama grew from book club to much more Statesman
Word on the book club was put out on meetup.com. Earhart handed out fliers as people exited a Dixie Chicks concert. As Obama signed his book at the Texas Book Festival in October 2006, Kobierowski gave a flier to the Illinois senator.
"David, this is great!" Kobierowski recalls him saying with a fist pump. "Grass roots - this is exactly what I want to see all over the country."
At their first formal meeting on "The Audacity of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream," Kobierowski expected to do some networking with like-minded people. Davis thought it would be a monthly excuse to drink beer and talk politics. Earhart expected it to be himself, Davis, Everhart and a couple of other lonely readers and politicos.
But 30 to 35 people showed up at El Sol y La Luna on South Congress Avenue in December 2006. More than 80 came to their second meeting at Scholz Garten the next month. And by the third meeting at Mitchie's Gallery in February 2007, when they watched Obama announcing his candidacy via live webcast, it was clear that their group was going to be more than a book club.
I'm still getting lots of calls/emails about debate tickets, so I want re-emphasize that I have no control over this process. I don't even get a ticket, so I honestly can't get you a ticket. I'm sorry!
This event is being organized by CNN and the Texas Democratic Party. Initially, they had announced that there were no debate tickets available to the general public. But thanks in part to our grassroots pressure, they've now created a lottery system to release 100 tickets. While it's still outrageous that so few tickets are available to the public, it's still better than nothing. So thank you to everyone who took grassroots action and made your voices heard.
If you have any questions/concerns, please call the Texas Democratic Party at (512) 478-9800. Or you can contact the Executive Director, Ruben Hernandez, at rhernandez@txdemocrats.org.
And just to be clear, the Travis County Democratic Party has nothing to do with the debate, so please don't call them demanding tickets. The Travis County Party has been good to us all year, and we encourage our supporters to send them a post-Valentines 'thank you' note for all their hard work.
info@TravisCountyDemocrats.org
Over 10,000 people have already registered for the ticket lottery, so if you don't get a ticket, you're invited to join us at our Debate Watching Party at Scholz Garten (two blocks south of the UT campus). We'll have our pre-debate rally starting at 5:00pm, and the general public is invited. And unlike the TDP's debate watch party at the swanky Hyatt Hotel, our event is free and won't cost you $50. Texans for Obama is an all-volunteer grassroots organization, and we don't believe there should be financial hurdles to participate in this historic event. Over 500 people have already RSVP'd for our party, and we look forward to a great event!

According to an update from the UT School of Information's representative to the UT President's Council for Senate, the Dean of Students office is currently deciding how to select students to fill the remaining seats for the debate. A decision will be made before next Tuesday because the Secret Service must have Names/IDs/SSNs from every student who will be attending before Wednesday. Please see here for more details:
In addition, for all the students who are unable to attend the live debate, the Senate will be holding a live debate-watching party somewhere on Campus (yet to be decided). There will be FREE FOOD AND DRINKS and they are currently negotiating with the candidates to get them to stop by the party after the debates are over (around 9-9:30 pm).
The School of Information representative is going to update us when she finds out more - when she does, I will post an update.
Here's a link to a story from the Daily Texan about tickets:
A lot of you have been calling/emailing me asking how to get tickets to the presidential debate at UT-Austin. I apologize for not being able to answer everyone's questions promptly.
The short answer is I don't know yet. But as soon as I do know, you will know. We'll just post the info on our blog. I assume there will be some tickets allotted on a first-come first-serve basis, so I recommend grabbing your sleeping bag and tent and be prepared to camp out.
It's safe to say there simply won't be enough supply to meet demand. So if you don't get a ticket, then join us at Scholz Garten starting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday 2/21.
Thank you to everyone for your interest in Sen. Obama. I wish I had the time to follow up with everyone, but please be patient, and we'll post the debate ticket info as soon as we get it.
The Texas showdown will be Thursday (2/21) at 7:00pm on CNN. The debate will take place at the LBJ school. As soon as we know how to get tickets, we'll post that information on to this TFO blog.
For a staging location, we're going to meet at Scholz Garten for a pre-debate rally and a debate watching party. Scholz is conviently located just two blocks south of the UT campus. The pre-debate really will start at 5:00pm, and we'll stick around Scholz until the debate is over.
We've got over 75 people here right now at our Grassroots Policy Symposium. Great turnout!
The TFO Policy Team has been volunteering for a year, and their mission is to educate the public about Barack's policies. They've done lots of research, and today's presentation has been awesome!
