| Apparently word is getting out that our campus volunteer headquarters is rocking and rolling. Tom Brokaw himself just came to our office to learn more about our grassroots efforts. He was very down-to-earth, and he was well aware that Sen. Obama had met with Mack Brown and the Longhorn football team. Hook 'em!
Thanks to our student volunteer leaders who have helped get our campus office up and running in just a few days. We've gone from 0-to-60, and we're now making thousands of voter outreach calls every day out of this office. Our movement is growing every day, and we welcome more supporters to join our volunteer operation.
Also, thank you to Eva, Amy and the rest of the Women for Obama team for organizing successful house parties across Texas this past weekend. And finally, a special thanks to Matt and David for helping start the orginal Obama book club, long before Sen. Obama even announced for President. It's been a long journey, but it's been a lot of fun!
